In Memoriam

President’s Advisory Council member and two-term PMMI Chairman of the Board Bob Risley passed away Jan. 27, 2019 at the age of 79. In addition to serving as Chairman of PMMI in 2005 and 2006, Risley was a past president of The International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT) and a holder of more than a dozen U.S. patents.
 

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Audrey, his daughter, Susan, two sons, Stephen and David Risley, and seven grandchildren. A 1964 graduate of The University of Wisconsin, Risley was a leader in beverage engineering, working for Schlitz, Anheuser-Busch and Pepsi before eventually building his own company, Material Handling Systems (MHS). After selling MHS to Intralox in 2007, Risley remained active in PMMI attending the Executive Leadership Conference, Annual Meeting, Top to Top Summit and volunteering his time to work with students at the PACK EXPO portfolio of Trade Shows.

ProFood Tech Exhibitors: Order your Booth Services - The Expo Group Discount Deadline

The discount deadline for ordering services is Monday, Feb. 18. Finalize your order with payment by Monday, Feb. 18 to receive 30 percent off most items. If you are paying by check or wire transfer, your check or wire needs to be received by the Expo Group by Feb. 18. PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2019 Exhibit Space Invoices Sent!

Invoices for the second (50 percent) payment for PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2019 (Sept. 23-25) have been emailed to all PACK EXPO Las Vegas and Healthcare Packaging EXPO 2019 exhibitor show contacts. As in the past, exhibitors can choose to maintain the existing payment schedule (50 percent invoiced now, the remaining 25 percent due in June), or elect to enroll in the PACK EXPO payment plan.
 

The payment plan option eases cash flow for exhibitors and stretches out the remaining 75 percent due over five months (March–July). The invoice email includes complete instructions for both payment options.
 

The deadline for those exhibitors who choose to make the traditional 50 percent payment is Friday, March 15.
